FEED THE CITY, PROTECT IT TOO.
The Chicago Catering Company feeds Chicago — and we want to keep Chicago fed for the long haul. That means cooking with the city, not against it: local ingredients, compostable packaging, plant-forward menus, and delivery routes that don't waste fuel. Sustainability isn't a marketing line for us; it's how the kitchen runs every day.
We source from the produce markets on the South Side, bakeries in Pilsen, and butchers in the West Loop so the food on your table travels the shortest distance possible. Our packaging is compostable or recyclable, and we're continuously expanding our plant-forward menus to lower the footprint of every spread.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
We use compostable clamshells, recyclable pans, and plant-based utensils. Every boxed meal and buffet tray is packaged to be recycled or composted, not landfilled.
Local Sourcing
Produce, bread, and proteins come from Chicago-area vendors — the produce markets on the South Side, bakeries in Pilsen, and butchers in the West Loop. We keep our supply chain inside the city whenever possible.
Plant-Forward Menus
We expand vegetarian and vegan options every season, lowering the carbon footprint of every spread without sacrificing flavor.
Efficient Delivery
We route deliveries to minimize drive time and idle, packing orders by neighborhood to cut emissions across the day.
